About Dr. David Estin

Dr. David Estin is a board-certified neurosurgeon and leading spine surgeon in New Jersey, specializing in spinal disorders, minimally invasive techniques, and brain tumors. A graduate of Brown University and the NYU School of Medicine, he trained at Tufts University and Harvard’s Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. He practices at the Eatontown office, with advanced expertise in endoscopic pituitary surgery and robotic spinal procedures. As a cervical spine expert, he offers both non-surgical and surgical treatments, focusing on reducing pain, restoring function, and enhancing quality of life.

Meet Dr. Estin

Dr. David Estin is a board-certified neurosurgeon and top spine surgeon in New Jersey, specializing in spinal disorders, minimally invasive surgical techniques, and brain tumors. A graduate of Brown University and the NYU School of Medicine, he trained at Tufts University and Harvard’s Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. He practices at the Eatontown office, with particular expertise in computer-navigated robotic spinal procedures and endoscopic pituitary surgery. As a cervical spine expert, he offers both non-surgical and surgical treatments designed to ease pain, restore mobility, and improve quality of life.

Dr. Estin cares for patients with a wide range of spine and brain conditions, including:

Spinal disorders treated with minimally invasive approaches, such as microdiscectomy, spinal stenosis surgery, and spinal fusion
Cervical spine conditions requiring artificial disc replacement and advanced computer-navigated surgical techniques

Brain tumors, including pituitary tumors, are treated through advanced endoscopic nasal approaches

He uses the latest surgical innovations—including robotic spinal systems, tubular portals for minimally invasive procedures, stereotactic radiosurgery, and endoscopic techniques for pituitary tumors—to deliver precise, less invasive treatments that shorten recovery and improve outcomes.

Training & Education

Dr. Estin graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Human Biology from Brown University, magna cum laude. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree from the New York University School of Medicine and was admitted to Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He then completed an Internship in Surgery at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, an affiliate of Harvard Medical School. His Neurological Surgery residency was undertaken at Tufts University, serving as chief resident at Tufts and at Beth Israel Deaconess.

Dr. Estin is board certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons as well as the American Association of Neurological Surgeons.
